OK, I'm going to jump 3-4 lessons. One of the SEM (Search Engine Marketing) 'tricks' is get linked form all over the world. Now days, one significant link can be better then 10,000 garbage incoming links. How can you get these great natural links?
- Content – A. Content is not only text areas, as Google search engine displays. B. Copying data from others can not be considered as 'content writing'. C. Fresh it, update it, play with it, share it.
- Make it easy– Let's say I liked your site, it's not enough! You should give me all the possible ways (the reasons for coming back should be the site content) to come back: Add RSS buttons, Digg, Del.icio.us etc, Bookmarking and other magical ways. But remember this – YOU SHOULD NEVER FORCE THE USER TO COME BACK!!!
- Make it very easy – If I can't navigate smoothly in your site, I'll never come back out of my will. Make it easy to navigate, easy to understand, don't over-flash it, don't over-AJAX it.
