How to avoid TMI syndrome ("I don't have the time for…")?

As a money maker or web-worker, I usually encounter with TMI syndrome – too much information ('Duran Duran' once wrote about it). The syndrome moves in 2 major orbits: 1. You read about something, but the article is much 2 long/boring irrelevant. 2. You read more subjects then are read worthy/you can remember/you can benefit from. This is how to avoid it, starting…..now!

1. Take a step back and decide what you would like/need to read about.

2. Don't try to guess – map your day and make improvements where needed.

3. Try to do more, in less time/money. Read about it and make it so. Use 1 paragraph list.

4. Don't become feeds/emails/IM's slaves. Use these technologies when and where you need them – not always, everywhere, all the time. Don't feel obligated to answer everything. Cut these technologies usage – yes you can. Yes, you can!

5. Keep IM applications running for as long as you need it, then, close it. Close it!!

6. Get disconnected at list once a day for an hour. Use this hour for new ideas and phone calls for example.

7. Every 45 minutes, make a mini-personal-break. Go outside, think, close your eyes, drink, stretch up. Go back. Better Hu?

8. Use monitor services where you can see how much time you're spending on web based porn. Cut it by half….and then another half, and another one. Isn't 14 hours per day enough?!?

9. Disconnect from the real world for a while – One of the funniest methods of web workers and online money makers, is the way they can focus for a long time to finish a web mission. Do it.

10. Write down the 25 top websites/online forums you're actively visits regularly and 'you can't go without them'. Every week, drop one site. Forget about it, don't go there. If you'll totally forget about it, the site was not worth it. Smile. You have more time.

11. News is like the sky's black wholes. Try to focus on minimum news resources.

12. Once a month, disconnect for a whole day. Then make it once a week. Kiss your dog, your wife and kids. They're smile worth money as health and other happy feelings.

13. Announce about the 'new you'. Tell others you've cut working time by half. Tell them you have a day off every week. Tell the world about your plans and it'll set the right path for you.

14. Before doing something, ask your self if you should and why do you do it. If you feel good about the answer – do it. If not, check out the 1 paragraph list.

Until next time...
